We pride ourselves on providing the best education to children. We accept children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We also offer camps for winter, spring, and summer breaks for school age children up to the age of 10 years old. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of both children and families through specific goals and objectives. We focus on building the strengths of each child, taking advantage of every teachable moment. Individual attention is given to all children and parent participation is strongly encouraged.
6 Weeks to 5 Years of Age
STEAM On Learning Center LLC is a year-round program. It was developed to provide an affordable, nurturing, supportive and safe educational environment for families, who need preschool and school-age care for their children. The STEAM focus, centers on high-quality project and play-based curriculum and hands-on learning experiences rich in science, technology, engineering, arts (visual arts, dance, drama, music and media arts) and mathematics. The added emphasis on literacy and emergent writing along with the development of social and emotional skills play an integral role in the development of each child.
We offer free VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) for children that have turned four prior to September 1st. Our VPK program is designed specifically to prepare children for Kindergarten and success in school.Various options such as free Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) only and VPK wrap around is available.
Camps For School Age Children
We offer camps for winter, spring, and summer breaks for school-age children up to the age of 10 years old. We provide a STEAM focused, full of fun camp for children when the public schools are on break.
Our Curriculum for ages 3 to 5 years old
The Early Literacy and Learning Model/Plus (ELLM/Plus) is a research-based, comprehensive curriculum for 3, 4, and 5 year-old preschool children that has been proven to be effective improving children's early reading achievement. The literacy-focused curriculum builds cognitive development through literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, motor experiences, and physical health. The cognitive and social/emotional development in children is facilitated through interactions with supportive teachers and other adults who encourage children's curiosity, persistence, and creativity by planning and implementing engaging activities and providing support during learning experiences. ELLM/Plus is designed to expand children's vocabularies and refine their understanding and comprehension of words they know and use.
Our Social & Emotional Development Curriculum
Conscious Discipline is a comprehensive emotional intelligence and classroom management system that integrates all domains of learning (social, emotional, physical, cultural and cognitive) into one seamless curriculum. It is an evidence-based program that teaches Teachers to respond to daily conflict in a way that transforms it into an opportunity to teach critical life skills.
Our Curriculum For ages 0 to 36 Months
The Investigator Club
Respectful, responsive caregiving and relationships create a strong foundation for Baby InvestiGators™ and InvestiGator Tots® play and discovery programs.
We offer enrichment classes such as Music, Spanish, Playball etc. These classes are offered at a nominal monthly cost, and are based on the availability of the vendors. The classes are held right here at the center and are usually held once a week.
Healthy Snacks and Nutritious Meals
We provide fresh, healthy and nutritious Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Snack daily. The children love the wide variety of foods such as pancakes, waffles, cereal, seasonal fruits, meatballs and Spaghetti, chicken fried rice, Mac n cheese etc. to name a few!
Milk is provided daily.
